arcenciel has been awarded the prestigious Champions of the Earth award in the Inspiration and Action category by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The award recognizes the organization’s transformative action in preventing and reversing ecosystem degradation. arcenciel has been actively involved in waste management since 2003, including the management of Hazardous waste, treating 87% of hospital waste. The organization has also made efforts to ensure the safe treatment of potentially infected waste during the COVID-19 pandemic. The award coincides with arcenciel’s 38th anniversary, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to sustainability and building for future generations.
