Earlier in the autumn, on 19, 20 and 21 October, La Brocante des Artistes 2018 took place at Villa Asseily in Achrafieh.

There was plenty to see and do over the course of the weekend – the main attraction was the silent auction; artists were invited to select a piece of vintage furniture from the Brocante in Damour and update it in their style, the upcycled furniture and other pieces of their art were then exhibited and secretly bid for.

In the courtyard were the stands selling arcenciel’s very own goods: produce from Beit Al Mouzareh, ceramic pieces from arcenciel’s ceramique workshop, and clothing from la Boutique arcenciel.

Our kind sponsors, including Allianz SNA, La Libanaise des Jeux, NEXtCARE and SGBL, also took stands, serving free drinks and giving away umbrellas to protect against the rain showers.

All this with a backdrop of live graffiti and a different band each night to entertain the crowds.
