In partnership with the Ajuntament de Barcelona (Municipality of Barcelona), the project aims to promote economic and environmental justice by improving the livelihoods of vulnerable farmers and producers in the municipality of Hazmieh, Lebanon. Several axes will be established to promote the socio-economic recovery of groups particularly affected by COVID-19

Activities:

YEAR 1:

• Implementation of a local market featuring agroecological and artisanal products in the municipality of Chyiah: procurement of materials and equipment for market infrastructure, and establishment of the market.
• Conducting 8 agroecological and sales/marketing technique training sessions to enhance the expertise of small-scale local farmers.

YEAR 2:

• Offering 3 advanced training sessions focusing on key aspects and skills related to business management and success, including social networks and digital marketing.
• Distribution of equipment to improve sales and profitability.
• Facilitating the participation of producers in local markets across Lebanon.
