On Monday, February 6, in Taanayel, arcenciel signed, in the presence of French Ambassador Bruno Foucher, the second phase of the “Social Protection within Municipalities” project, funded by Agence Française de Développement (AFD).

The project has enabled, until now:

• to train community workers whose field work will identify the most vulnerable people;
• to improve access to health and social services for the most vulnerable people through, in particular, consultations or professional training;
• to improve their well-being through the deployment of psychosocial, sports and educational activities, especially meant for young people.

The second phase of this project will allow, in particular, to strengthen programs meant for young people with the collaboration of a large number of new partner municipalities.
