The mission of La Brocante is to give value to that which has been abandoned.

The main goal of La Brocante is to take abandoned and recycled materials and up-cycle it using the talents of People with difficulties (PWD) (Carpenters, Upholster, etc..) to:

1. To transform the old furniture and materials into pieces of functional art and vintage furniture.
2. Help them get a job and integrate them within the society.

La Brocante up-cycles used donated furniture and old household appliances to re-sell them as vintage items.

La Brocante never stopped helping people in need; until today La Brocante provides free services and furniture to those who cannot afford them.

With donations becoming more abundant, the idea to make a second-hand store Loubnani was undertaken in order to help the disenfranchised and to promote sustainable development. Objects are restored and sold as vintage furniture.

La Brocante can provide high quality up cycled furniture and home goods to customers.

DONATION

People who are interested in donating furniture:

• Call 81 214 840
• arcenciel‘s team will pick up the furniture
• The team will then make a selection, objects that cannot be sold or refurbished will be sent to be recycled

RESTORATION 
Within the workshop, recuperated objects are divided and sorted by the carpenters into the following categories:

• objects in good condition
• objects in need of restoration
• objects in need of transformation
• objects to be recycled

Some suitable objects for restoration include

Living rooms and hearths
couches, arm chairs, low tables, TV stands, newspaper stands, paintings and reproductions…

Dining rooms
tables, counters, buffets, chandeliers, chairs…

Bedrooms
beds, mattresses, dressers, armoires, wardrobes, bed side tables…

Games and instruments
toys for children, synthesizers, pianos, guitars, xylophones, books…

Theme room
handcrafted porcelain, glasswork, handmade paintings, sculptures, etc…

Antiquing is the process of restoring objects into aesthetic, usable pieces. arcenciel gives life to unused furniture by means of restoration or transformation. The new objects will then be sold and will generate revenues for arcenciel’s social and environmental causes.

• La Brocante creates jobs for people with disability and disadvantaged people in the restoration and production workshops, and in the distribution centers. It contributes to the development of society by encouraging disadvantaged people to take hold of their lives.

• Recycling, re-using and repurposing materials and furniture
• The recuperation of objects contributes waste reduction, it acts as a base for sustaining an ecological conscience
